Writing Goals and Showing not Telling

Each week I (along with the great writing teachers at JHIS) have been posting the kids work.  The methodology of Lucy Calkins is to show the process, the basics for a good writing structure before putting pencil to paper and writing a formal piece.  So all of these exercises that have been posted thus far, are just the beginning stages and by the end of the school year, more in-depth writings will be featured.
